ST. LOUIS (March 4, 2011) – World Wide Technology, a market-leading systems integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions, announced today that it is the recipient of nine Cisco Partner Summit awards.  WWT was honored with the global award for U.S. and Canada Theater Partner of the Year, and three theater awards for Theater Partner of the Year (U.S. and Canada), Data Center Partner of the Year, and Capital Partner of the Year.  The company was also awarded five regional and segment awards, including National Services Partner of the Year, Public Safety and Federal Partner of the Year for Public Sector, and Enterprise Partner of the Year for the Central and West Regions. Cisco unveiled the winners March 1 at its annual channel partner conference in New Orleans.

GILA COUNTY, ARIZONA
Gila County, Arizona was looking for a way to create an efficient phone/data network bridging 12 office locations and two clusters of population 80 miles apart. World Wide Technology designed and deployed a  Cisco IP Communications solution to support all phone traffic between the County offices. With the new IP phone system, Gila County will save $13k - $25k per month in long distance phone charges.
