David L. Steward - Chairman of the Board
David L. Steward founded World Wide Technology in July of 1990. With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, David spends the majority of his time developing strategic supplier, customer and employee relationships. He plays a key role in WWT's pursuit of large contract bids within its industry specific operating companies. Prior to starting WWT, David held various senior-level management positions with Wagner Electric, Missouri Pacific Railroad and Federal Express Corporation. Steward holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Central Missouri State University. Steward was also awarded Honorary Doctorates of Humane Letters in 2002 by Harris Stowe State University and Lindenwood University.
James P. Kavanaugh - Chief Executive Officer
Jim Kavanaugh co-founded World Wide Technology with David Steward in 1990. Jim and his proven management team have been the driving force behind WWT's growth, leadership and core value system. Over the years, Jim has solidified the Company's financial position through profitable growth and a $27.5M Venture Capital Investment that was repaid in 2005. Jim currently focuses his time in the areas of long term planning, financial performance, employee development and WWT’s continued adherence to its core value system. Prior to founding WWT, Jim worked at Future Electronics and played professional soccer. Kavanaugh holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from St. Louis University.
Joseph G. Koenig - President, World Wide Technology
Joe Koenig has over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry. As President, he directs and manages all sales, marketing, business operations and professional services. He is responsible for managing relationships with key business partners and customers while setting the overall strategy of the business. Prior to WWT, Joe held various sales, marketing and project management positions with Computer Sciences Corporation. Koenig holds a bachelor's degree in finance from St. Louis University.
Thomas W. Strunk - Chief Financial Officer
Tom Strunk has nearly 20 years of industry experience, serving as World Wide Technology's Vice President of Finance from 1994 until October 1999. From 1999 to 2002, Tom served as CFO for Telcobuy.com. As current CFO for WWT, he directs and manages the WWT finance and accounting operations and oversees a staff of accounting and financial managers. Before joining World Wide Technology, Tom served as Controller for a privately-held construction company. Strunk is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Louis University.
Robert M. Olwig - Vice President, Corporate Business Development
As Vice President of Corporate Business Development, Bob Olwig has company-wide responsibility for driving World Wide Technology's strategic initiatives, advanced technology solutions and corporate marketing as well as managing strategic relationships with key partners. Bob joined WWT in 1996 and from 1999 to 2002, Bob served as CTO for Telcobuy.com. Bob has over 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, including various technical, sales and sales management responsibilities at McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation and Novell. Ann W. Marr - Vice President, Human Resources
As Vice President of Human Resources, Ann Marr oversees all human resources functions, which include talent management, policy development, benefits administration, training, leadership development and employee relations as well as managing the company’s supplier diversity program. Ann has over 20 years of human resources experience and has held positions with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Anheuser-Busch Companies. Ann is also chair of the WWT Charitable Foundation and is very active in the St. Louis community. Ann serves on the board of the St. Louis Minority Business Council, Focus St. Louis, the Urban League of Greater St. Louis and St. Louis Forum. Marr holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in human resources management from Webster University.
Mark J. Catalano - President, Commercial Sales
Mark Catalano has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Telcobuy.com since its inception in October 1999. From July 1997 to October 1999, he served as Vice President and General Manager of World Wide Technology's Telco Business Unit. Mark has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including his position as Regional Vice President at TIE Communications, Inc., a telecommunications voice and network solutions company. Catalano holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
Matt S. Horner - Vice President, Professional Services
Matt Horner has served as Vice President of Professional Services for World Wide Technology, Inc. since 1999. Horner manages over 150 industry-certified network, voice, security, mobility and storage engineers, project managers and business consultants. His responsibilities include strategic growth planning, consulting services financial management, operational management, customer and manufacturer relationship development and the successful deployment ofWWT’s information technology services and solutions. Matt has almost 20 years of professional services management and leadership experience in the information technology and telecommunications industry. Horner holds a bachelor's degree in international business management from Loyola University of New Orleans.
Bhavani Amirthalingam - Vice President of Information Technology
As Vice President of Information Technology, Bhavani Amirthalingam has responsibility for all information technology functions that include business applications, PMO, architecture and infrastructure and operations at WWT. In her role, she helps define and execute the IT strategy in line with the overall business strategy. Bhavani has been with WWT since 1999 in various leadership roles managing different aspects of IT throughout her tenure. Prior to WWT, she has helped define and implement eCommerce strategies for large corporations like Sony, Ford and McGraw-Hill and has almost 15 years of IT leadership and management experience. Amirthalingam has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a Master of Business Administration degree in information management.
Bill E. McKeon - Vice President of Federal Sales
Bill McKeon has 25 years of experience in sales to the federal government. He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key vendors, prime integrators, and setting overall strategy for WWT’s federal team. Bill has had held a number of positions in sales and sales management since joining WWT in 1996. Prior to joining WWT, Bill founded his own small business that focused on selling to the federal government. McKeon holds a bachelors degree from St. Louis University and a master’s degree from Rockhurst College.
Chester T. Gloyd - Vice President, Program Management
As Vice President of Program Management, Chester Gloyd has responsibility for managing start-up, continuous improvement and profitability of major supply chain programs. Chester joined WWT in 1998 from Andersen Consulting. From 1999 to 2004, Chester ran WWT’s business consulting practice, taking responsibility for the Program Management team in 2005. Gloyd holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Missouri.
Kurt Grimminger - Vice President, Supply Chain Operations
Kurt Grimminger has served as Vice President, Supply Chain Operations for World Wide Technology since 2000. In this role Kurt oversees all logistics, warehouse and material operations. He is responsible for day to day execution and oversight of all supply chain programs including key customers such as Dell, Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T Mobility and Boeing. Prior to joining WWT, he held management positions with Texas Instruments and Nortel Networks. Kurt’s industry experience includes defense systems and electronics, consumer products, data networking, and telecommunications spanning over 20 years of involvement in supply chain management, manufacturing and distribution operations domestically and abroad. Grimminger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Nebraska.
Mark Franke - Vice President, Global Supply Chain
Mark Franke has over twenty years experience in Supply Chain and Business Development roles. Mark joined WWT in 2000 and is currently responsible for developing WWT’s strategy and infrastructure to support the global growth of the company. Previous roles at WWT included Program Management, Information Technology and Supply Chain Operations. Prior to WWT, Mark spent nine years at Newell-Rubbermaid in sales management and product development. Franke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
Mark S. Donnel – Vice President of Finance
Mark Donnel has almost 25 years of experience in the field of accounting and finance. Mark began his career at Arthur Andersen and Company, where he served as an audit manager. Immediately prior to joining World Wide Technology, Mark was an audit partner at a local St. Louis accounting firm, where he served as the partner in charge of the audit division. Mark has been with WWT since 2000 and has served as the Director of Finance for Telcobuy.com. He has been in his present role as Vice President of Finance for World Wide Technology for the last six years. As the Company’s VP of Finance, Mark manages the accounting and finance team for WWT, including treasury management, financial reporting, financial operations and accounting operations. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville SC, where he graduated cum laude in 1987. Donnel holds a Certificate of Public Accounting from the State of Missouri and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Tim P. Loughman – Vice President of Sales Operations
As Vice President of Sales Operations, Tim Loughman has corporate responsibility for developing and overseeing all aspects of sales operations including vendor alliance, inside sales, procurement, contract administration, customer service and pre-sales technical services. Prior to joining WWT, Tim was employed by McDonnell Douglas Missiles Systems Company responsible for business management activities supporting various defense Contracts. Loughman has more than 15 years in the IT industry and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Dan B. Svoboda - Vice President of Corporate Properties
Dan Svoboda, a graduate of the University of Missouri, came to World Wide Technology from Mallinckrodt Chemical where his primary focus was sales management and operations. Dan has served as WWT’s Vice President of Corporate Properties since October 1999, where his 20-plus years of experience has been instrumental in managing the Company’s security and global expansion activities. Dan oversees long-range properties planning, security operations, and the maintenance of all WWT properties worldwide. His responsibilities include property acquisition and disposition, space planning, lease negotiations, PM contracting and both physical and federal classified contract security operations.
